Here is where a featured iWeb site will be listed every month. Sites are chosen as featured because of their individuality and creativity as well as for their attempts in making their sites look like they're not created with iWeb. Sites are chosen from the list of iWeb-created sites listed on iWebFAQ.com/iwebsites so make sure your site is listed if you want to be considered a feature on iWebFAQ.com. The site of the month for January 2009 is StopSuctionEntrapment.com

Password-Protect your site and watermark images. Protect yourself and be aware of common hacking techniques like phishing pharming.
If you are Publishing to .mac there are a few extra things you must be aware of which will help you protect yourself. First is the fact that your .mac username is available to visitors of your .mac hosted site! Even if you are using domain name forwarding or have set up your CNAME through iWeb and your domain name shows in the address bar of your browser your .mac username will still be accessible by viewing the source code for your site. With the information of your .mac username a potential threat could obtain personal information that may be provided on your site like your dogs name, favorite color, hobbies, etc and attempt to guess your password and login to your .mac account having access to your web host and email which could be a terrible situation!
OK so what if you are Publishing to .mac and you still want to have personal info like dogs name, favorite color, etc. and you do not want to have a password-protected site. How do you protect yourself from hackers then? The best and only way is to have a difficult .mac password for yourself! Do not have your .mac password be something easy to guess, make it a random generation of letters and numbers something like 16 characters long. Also never never never NEVER use the same password for multiple online services cause if hacker knows your .mac username and password they will try same username and password on PayPal, Yahoo, AT&T, VISA's, etc. and if you use the same username and password on all your online service sites you're F%#*ED!!!
