Here is where a featured iWeb site will be listed every month. Sites are chosen as featured because of their individuality and creativity as well as for their attempts in making their sites look like they're not created with iWeb. Sites are chosen from the list of iWeb-created sites listed on iWebFAQ.com/iwebsites so make sure your site is listed if you want to be considered a feature on iWebFAQ.com. The site of the month for January 2009 is StopSuctionEntrapment.com
QTVR
To create this QTVR 360 movie we put a digital camera on a tripod and took about 30 pictures in a complete circle making sure to overlap each picture about %20
Then we used Panorama Maker 4 to stitch the photos together and saved the file as a .MOV
Panorama Maker makes creating 360 movies a breeze. You select the pictures you'd like to stitch and drag and drop their stitching order on a timeline if it isn't already correct. Then you click "stitch" and the program does the rest! For $40 we were very impressed. It took about 5 minutes to make the 360 degree movie seen on this page. That is for the complete result including the time it took to actually take the pitcures. If you have a digital camera with a tripod and Panorama Maker then you can easily make 360 degree movies!
After the .MOV was created we placed the file in our host and made an iFrame on the page where the QTVR is now seen. You must add an extra 16 pixels to the height of the frame to make room for the QTVR controls.
